2008-04-19 My fourth trip. This is the good one. I picked up Denzil and we headed out. Denzil is planning on trying this again so I pulled over a few times so he could get better pictures along the route. Ihave it written down, but might as well put it here. Take 84 West to exit 33A and hang a left at the end of the ramp. Head toward Marsing if you know the area. Obey the speed limit which drops down to 25 all too quickly.
I could not find the same rock I stepped over and hurt my ankle last December, but I did manage to give it a side bend and front bend to make it sore again. Nothing like the first time. Denzil and I made it toan area where we could not see a way to for upstream. Thinking it must be close, we doubled back a few yards and went up to out our left and through the two columns and there it was.
Estimating our progress, it took three hours to reach it. And about 2.5 to get out.
